Proof Girl Scouts and 5-Stars Generals Commemorative Coins

In last week’s U.S. Mint sales report, 26 of the bureau’s numismatic products logged week-over-week gains. The latest sales figures have the number of improving products up to 80. Types with stronger sales included:

  • All eight First Spouse Gold Coins,
  • Fifteen of sixteen America the Beautiful Quarters Three-Coin Sets,
  • Eleven of the twelve Presidential $1 Coin & First Spouse Medal Sets,
  • All sixteen Presidential $1 Coin Covers, and
  • All but two of the major annual proof sets

Commemorative coins were most popular, whether they featured 5-Star Generals or Girl Scouts. A commemorative product held seven of the top ten selling slots for the Mint.

Products with White Mountain Quarters Slide

Products with White Mountain National Forest quarters continue to take sales hits. Last week the two roll sets of P&D quarters fell by 11,824. In this latest round they dropped another 262 to 13,129. Also lower were 100-coin bags from Denver by 22 to 2,609 and 100-coin bags from Philadelphia by 24 to 2,725.
